Students watch U.S. Election amid pizza, chocolates and…sleeping bags at Georgetown

Pizza boxes, chocolates and lots of coffee mugs were scattered everywhere as approximately 40 students and staff from all over Education City spent the night camped out in the student lounge in Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar, to follow coverage of the 57th U.S presidential elections.


The first-of its kind live screening of the election coverage started at midnight Doha time (4 p.m. U.S. time). Coverage lasted until 9 a.m. Doha time on November 7.
