Mohamed El Edrisi, a journalism senior and a student of the video journalism course, said, “We’ve been preparing for this event for two weeks now… and it was an amazing turn out.” He added that his role, along with other broadcasting students, was to “introduce the newsroom and explain that we’re using the same systems as Al Jazeera and BBC, and that we have advanced AP and Reuters systems.”
