Christina M. Paschyn, Faculty Advisor
Christina M. Paschyn is an assistant professor in residence in the journalism program at Northwestern University in Qatar. She joined The Daily Q as a faculty advisor in spring 2016. Paschyn is a multimedia journalist and award-winning documentary filmmaker. She has reported for major news organizations across the globe, including the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, TIME.com in London, E News in Johannesburg and KVRR-TV as the station’s congressional correspondent in Washington, D.C. Her 2016 documentary film, "A Struggle for Home: The Crimean Tatars," chronicles the history and ongoing plight of the Crimean Tatar people in Russian-occupied Crimea. Paschyn earned an MA in Middle East Studies. Paschyn also earned a BS and an MS in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University through its Accelerated Master’s Degree Program.
