VCUQatar creates world’s largest pixel art by hand

Maha Essid

Members of Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar created the world’s largest peg-elated art by creating an image using more than 300,000 nails of six different colors. The pixel art was part of VCUQatar’s biennial international art and design conference Tasmeem Doha, and was related to this year’s theme “Analogue Living In A Digital World.”

Watch the video to learn about how the artwork was created.
