The Bibliophiles, NU-Q’s literary society, hosted their annual poetry night on Nov. 8, 2016 in the HBKU Student Center Blackbox Theater. The Multicultural Poetry Night celebrated all forms of poetry in multiple languages. The event aimed to provide the Education City community with a safe space to express themselves. Students, staff and faculty from all over EC recited their own poems or their favorite pieces, choosing topics such as war, loss, love and feminism. This is the fourth year that this event is being organized by The Bibliophiles, and was attended by around 80 people.
