Approximately 50 people gathered in front of the female residence halls in Education City to participate in a vigil for victims of the December 16 attack on a military-run school in Peshawar, in Northwest Pakistan. The attack, which was carried out by Pakistani Taliban fighters, left 132 students and 10 staff members dead. Members from all over the Doha community attended the event, with families and students outside of Education City participating in the event as well.
