VCU-Q celebrates South Asian culture

Education City has a large population of people from Indian, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh, who are known as “Desis. Every year, to celebrate their Desi culture, Virginia Commenwealth University in Qatar hosts Desi Night, showcasing their culture through traditional dances, cultural songs and even contemporary Bollywood tunes.
